Aunt Bettie's Lot

(Annotated photos below)

This is my dad and me standing on the area where we think "Aunt Bettie's Lot" used to be. This is where Douglass's grandmother, Betsy Bailey, lived in her cabin on the plantation. Just behind us is a young cedar tree which could probably be a descendant from the large, old cedar tree Douglass remembered playing near during his young years at the cabin. Through the woods is No-No Acres farm house, which used to be where the overseer's house of the plantaion once was. In the background a little to the left there is a house located at Tapper's Corner. You can also see the double arrow sign and stop sign across from the Tapper's Corner intersection.
