The Stable was moved to it's present location in 1987. It is all that remains of the Shoal Creek Estate of Governor Charles Goldsborough. The stable has been restored to appear much as it did when it was built, circa 1790. Items relating to early transportation in the County are exhibited here, including a wagon, sleigh, and pony carts. Also displayed are tools and artifacts of the blacksmith, wheelwright, and harness maker, the three tradesmen most involved with the construction of vehicles in those times.
